The cabin is cozy, but there’s lots to do locally. We are 8 minutes from the Cut River Bridge, 42 minutes from the Mackinac Bridge, 32 Minutes from Silver Mountain Skiing/sledding hill and disc golf course. Also, we are only one of two house on 200 ft of dirt road. You can leave the driveway to enter directly onto an assortment of ORV trails! Snowmobiling, ATV riding, or simply driving around to enjoy scenery in your truck. Our cabin could be just what you need for your perfect getaway! The space Even though we are only one of two houses on our road, our cabin does have a few surrounding houses. Not to worry! Next door is our family cabin and when we are there, feel free to stop by and say hi! Otherwise we will let you have your peace. As for any other neighbors they are all quiet and you may forget they are there. Guest access Guests are welcome to pick the apples off of the trees in the yard, use the fire ring and wood (usually stocked) next to the cabin, enjoy walks down sand lake road and even taking a turn to see Peggley Lake at the stump across from my father in laws (state land-free to explore as you wish :)) there are also blackberries during the right time of the year on your way to see the lake and we are only a 5 minute walk away. Unfortunately the lake is small and you may not want to venture too close as the weeds are high and it is not maintained. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE THE GPS SAYS ST.IGNACE BUT WE ARE ACTUALLY EPOUFETTE. You need to respect our property no matter what. We will file legal actions if you destroy our property with negligence. Also we are not held responsible by any acts of God if the power happens to go out. Pets allowed.
