Parkview House (I) - This second-floor room, with a shared bathroom, is part of a unique Airbnb guesthouse designed to accommodate medical residents and international grad students for short or long-term rental. The house is located in a quiet, off-campus student housing area, it is just a short 15-20 minute walk to the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt), Carnegie Mellon (CMU), or many of the UPMC hospitals. There are a total of four rooms in this house. The space This charming house built in the 1920s has been lovingly updated and restored with many of the original features still intact. The Ferris Room is located on the second floor of the house. It has refinished original hardwood floors and receives great morning sun. There is WiFi available throughout the house and guests have shared access to the kitchen and laundry facilities. Guest access Guests have access to a kitchen, dining room, and washer and dryer. During your stay We do not live at this location (we live 5-blocks away). This house is completely dedicated to Airbnb guests. Our interaction can vary depending on our schedules and our guests' schedules. Sometimes we cross paths frequently, sometimes guests come and go without us meeting face-to-face. We have a self-check-in process that allows guest to arrive when they like. We tend to keep busy schedules and travel frequently so interaction can vary. Other things to note Just as a clarification for new Airbnb users - our house does not provide a typical BnB experience. We offer clean comfortable rooms in a shared house with little to no interaction from us the host. Our space works well for grad students and medical professionals who are in town looking for a place to stay for a weekend or a month.
