Cozy Country Guest House is a 100 year old farm home out in the country about 5 miles out of Hallettsville Tx. Off of highway 77, we have a 75 acres ranch, with cattle and horse. Our main home is on the property too, we enjoy watching the cows and deer that come across every morning and evening, so hope you enjoy a cup of coffee, or and evening beverage relaxing on the porch. This is a very quaint country relaxing environment, hope you enjoy. The space This remodeled 100 year old home is very inviting and relaxing. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living room spaces, dinning room, kitchen and laundry room. You are just 25 minutes from the Shiner Brewery and we are in Lavaca County where the Fiddling Frolics takes place in April. Along with the Kolache fast, domino tournaments, the Sacred Heart picnic, and don’t forget our beautiful Court House at Christmas time. We have a horse that loves our guest, specially when you feed him. Crash is his name and he loves carrots, apples. We also have a pond, if you ask permission you my fish, just need to bring your own gear. We also have a fire ring, that if the wind is not to bad you can set around a fire. Plenty of chairs on the porch but please bring more, feel comfortable. Most of all safety first, be responsible with a fire. Thank you! Guest access You will have the whole house to enjoy. Other things to note The entrance that you turn into is a rock entrance with black pipes a big one over the top and then when you drive to the guest house you will stay straight don’t not turn right that takes you to our main home. You can park right there at the back door. Please if you smoke do it out side and no cig Butts the on ground thank you. We have a blue healer dog his name is Poncho very friendly and lovable. He may come visit he can eat any left overs, lol he will be your friend for life.
