A hammock, deck chairs, and picnic table complete the vacation package. The house is fully furnished with beds, linens, pots and pans, all your comfort needs. Washer and dryer included. You will only need to bring your food , drinks, some charcoal and clothes. Bring your own hotspot as this is a place to unplug, so no wifi is provided. please be sure and read this. Activities away from the house: In either direction you will find unique towns of Washington (30 min) or Oriental (30 mins) with water activities, antique shops, boutique and fun small shops, and many eateries. Washington has a long boardwalk, an Estuarium (river museum), boats you can rent, or just walk along the waterfront and relax. In the other direction from the home, you can drive 20 minutes to the free ferry (30 min ride across) to Historic Bath “home of Blackbeard the Pirate” or Belhaven. Another fun stop is at the Aurora Fossil Museum (15 miles), where you can dig for fossils to your hearts delight. There is a free museum there, along with really neat old fossils and dinosaur relics. Come to the Inner banks and enjoy some great relaxing adventures. Guest access You will have use of the entire 2 bedroom, 2 bath mobile home, the large lawn, picnic area with picnic table, the waterfront lawn area with bulkhead,. The pier is shared with neighbors and you can use the left side. You have access to two kayaks that can be carried about 100 feet to the water, a rough shore line (wear shoes at all times), a small sandy beach during low tide and views that will take your breath away. 2 crab pots are also available. Hammock and chairs on site. The mobile home is small in size, the porch and waterfront are large in adventure. Due to the high 10 ft bulkhead, this is not set up for young children. Other things to note This is a restful getaway, rather remote ride to get here. Picnic table, hammocks, porch swing are ready for your use. People are super friendly, quiet, and will help you if you need anything. Please note that cable, wifi, and internet are available by YOUR hotspot only. If you need 5 devices going at once, this is not the place for your vacation. Phone reception depends on your carrier, US Cellular , TMobile and Verizon work well. Washer and dryer on site.
