You’ll love the peace and serenity this private guest house brings! We are minutes away from beautiful vineyards. On the path (50 minutes) to CRATER LAKE where you can sightsee, hike, and snow shoe. Go fishing on the Rogue River, minutes away! Enjoy the deck that overlooks the views of the valley and views of the CASCADES. Hike the TABLE ROCKS, a 5 minute drive to the entrance. Ashland ski resort is 45 minutes away. Come back to a relaxing and cozy home after your adventures in the Rogue Valley. The space Our guesthouse has the ambiance of a romantic, cozy log cabin inside. Cool in the summer with new ductless air conditioning installed! There is a fully equipped kitchen, french press included! Stay in and make a romantic dinner for your loved one or go out and enjoy coming back to your getaway to cuddle up in front of the (electric) fireplace to enjoy your favorite shows or movies on the smart tv. The bedroom has a queen size memory foam mattress and there is a small loft space with full size bed. *Please note: the clearance in the loft area is such that one cannot stand up and it is just for sleeping!! There is an electric fireplace and smart tv in the bedroom as well. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower combo, dressing room/closet, and a SAUNA! Enjoy views of Sam's Valley, the Cascades, and the incredible sunsets on the balcony. There is also a small private deck below at the entrance that is perfect for star gazing at night. No smoking of any kind is allowed INSIDE but, you are welcome to enjoy whatever you want to smoke OUTSIDE! There are steps to enter the PRIVATE guesthouse and therefore may not be wheelchair accessible. Of note: Our WiFi speed doesn't allow downloads. Cell service is always available. Guest access All guests have access to their own private upper and lower deck areas that are not shared. There is plenty of room for parking. Also, if there is anything at all that guests need to make their stay more comfortable, just ask! Other things to note We are located on the rural part of Crater Lake Highway outside city limits, which means that we see and hear traffic but still in a beautiful country setting. We have 2 dogs that love to chase cars and get excited and bark mainly when you arrive and go to leave. They do not bite and are very friendly. *Pro-tip, throw a stick and you'll see tricks! We have an electric fence so they are not able to get anywhere near the guesthouse. If you let us know an approximate time you are coming we can have them contained if you would like. PLEASE NOTE: FOR GUESTS WANTING TO BOOK WITH SERVICE ANIMALS: This Airbnb is private. However, it has a shared yard and driveway with us (we live on the property). There are also 2 large territorial dogs on our property who live here outside . Although they are very friendly toward people, they are not friendly towards other animals. We therefore CANNOT accommodate guests with SERVICE AND / OR EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS OF ANY KIND as this creates a safety hazard , danger to other animals and increased liability for us as hosts.
