Close to Elephant Rocks state park, Johnson's Shut Ins state park, Taum Sauk Mountain, Battle of Pilot Knob, and the new Shepherd Mountain Bike Park. It is also walking distance from Thee Abbey Kitchen restaurant, bakery and ice cream shop. Shopping and family-friendly activities close by. You’ll love my place because of the rich history and nostalgic atmosphere. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families and big groups. The space You get the entire house to yourself. There is a private bedroom with a king size bed and two full size futons in the living room. There is a front porch with a porch swing. There is an outdoor swimming pool that is shared between the other 8 private bungalows. There is also an outdoor pavilion, gas grill and octagon swing with fire-pit and a double Pickleball Court (bring your own paddles/balls) on the property that is shared between all the bungalows. These are HISTORIC, 1915 bungalow-style houses. They are not perfect, but most of our guests love them. We are continually restoring these homes. Other things to note -We don’t do a daily housekeeping at the bungalows, however, if you need anything please just ask, we will be more than happy to service your bungalow. -If you need a place to put extra trash, there is a roll-away trash container by the pool.
