THE VIEW: A year-round, long-range, layered Mountain View awaits you atop Arrowhead Summit! Enjoy gorgeous sunsets and breathtaking blue skies from the large wraparound deck of your home away from home. THE GREAT ROOM: Arrowhead Summit is tastefully decorated with a Native American theme thought the cabin. On the main level you will enjoy the openness of a large, welcoming family room boasting a spectacular Mountain View and warm, natural sunlight from the large west-facing wall of windows. Enjoy an open floor plan with a 2.5 story cathedral ceiling with a ceiling-to-floor rock wall with wood-burning fireplace and comfortable furnishings. Included in the wide-open great room area is a 3-n-1 table that converts from a flat table for playing games or working a puzzle to a poker table to a bumper pool table. The gathering area is also well stocked with board/card games. So if staying put is your cup of tea, you won’t be bored at Arrowhead Summit! THE DINING ROOM/KITCHEN: There’s a large rustic wormwood dining table that comfortably seats six as well as counter seating for three in the open kitchen area. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to create and enjoy delicious family meals in the comfort of “home.” If you enjoy grilling, a large 4-burner gas grill is located on the open deck just off the screened-in porch. And for your convenience, a half-bath is located off the kitchen. THE SLEEPING AREAS: The upper level consists of a master loft with a rustic log king size bed and a bathroom with double vanity and an oversized wall-in tile shower with double shower heads. The west facing mountain view from this master loft is AMAZING! The terrace level offers two bedrooms with a queen bed in each and a full bathroom with tub/shower and washer and dryer. This area also has a large game room with a pool table, gas log fireplace, and two comfy chairs/ottomans for watching tv or reading by the fire. French doors lead from the game room to a patio where you can sit at the outdoor table and enjoy a meal or the quietness of the mountains. Sitting just off the back of the property is a large fire pit area where you can enjoy late-night s’mores, share interesting storytelling, or have fun with a game of horse shoes. THE DECK: Plenty of room to relax on the wrap-around covered deck. Seating consists of rocking chairs, glider, and a large picnic table. SCREENED PORCH: Tired muscles after a day of hiking, climb into the steamy hot tub and melt your aches away! NOTE: For the security purposes, this cabin is equipped with camera surveillance aimed toward the driveway that is able to view all vehicles and persons entering and exiting the property. There is also a camera on the back deck that is pointed out over the mountains so we too can enjoy the beautiful mountain view! Guest Access: You will have access to all parts of the property with two exceptions: - the owner’s closet in the master bathroom - the uppermost loft which is above the master bedroom loft. This loft is easily identifiable by signs prohibiting access. THE ROADWAY: The majority of the roads to the cabin are paved. Approximately 10 minutes of the drive up to the cabin is gravel but easily managed by most vehicle types. LOSS OF DEPOSIT: The following infractions will result in a total loss of deposit and possible immediate demand to vacate the property: - Smoking of any kind - Unregistered guests on property - More than 2 pets - Fireworks of any type - Weapons or firearms ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Guests are liable for any damages or rules violations that occur during their occupancy. Guests are required to inspect the property upon check-in and notify us immediately of any damages noted and any that occur during occupancy. Loss of deposit or additional charges may result from the following (but not limited to): - bringing more than the maximum occupancy of 6 guests - bringing more than 2 pets - unapproved late checkout (at the rate of the average cost of one night’s stay) beginning 30 minutes post-checkout time. - ignoring departure procedures - leaving cabin in a manner that reassures excessive cleaning - not following trash disposal guidelines - any indication of smoking on the property - missing or broken items Guest access Access to entire cabin (except locked owner’s closet) Other things to note This cabin is located in the mountains with slippery paths and the potential to encounter wildlife.
