Unlike most condo rentals in the area, our spacious and cheerful villa is a free-standing home surrounded by a private tropical garden with a small private pool. It's located on 'The Point' in beautiful Punta San Francisco, between Playa Tamarindo and Playa Langosta. This gated community is a very short walk to the quiet, immaculate beach. Inside you'll find natural Travertine stone floors and central air conditioning, as well as teak wood ceilings and cabinetry. The custom, handmade furniture was selected for comfort as well as its tropical motif. Also included is wireless internet. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors in the living room and dining room open to the private garden patio. The two upstairs bedrooms have very comfortable beds with high-count linens. Each has it's own bathroom with two sinks and a lovely private garden shower. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other has two twin beds that can be pushed together if preferred. Golf carts or bicycles are available for rent but the majority of our guests do not feel the need to rent them or cars. Most enjoy walking on the lovely beach to the Beach Club and town. Taxis are an inexpensive option. Other things to note Tamarindo Preserve is a gated beachfront community. The path to the beach from our home is a very short walk within the community. Beautiful Playa Tamarindo is located in the province of Guanacaste, on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. It is approximately 45 minutes southwest of the Liberia airport (LIR) and a 15 minute ride from the small Tamarindo airstrip. The villa is located at a superb location at the southern end of Tamarindo, between Playa Tamarindo and the immaculate Playa Langosta. A large variety of activities are readily available. The many wonderful restaurants in the area are highlighted by local, as well as European and North American chefs. The atmosphere is always casual, and the food is terrific. Banks and shopping are nearby for all your ATM, grocery, pharmacy and sports needs. Art galleries showcase talented local artists and craftsmen.
