This tiny house has a queen bed, kitchen, and bathroom with shower: a perfect retreat for 1-2 guests to relax. The space Located in the Daniel Boone National Forest in Menifee County (Frenchburg) between Red River Gorge (20 miles) and Cave Run Lake (14 miles), our cottage is in the middle of some of the most beautiful woods in Kentucky. This tiny house features a queen-sized bed, a comfy sofa, and a full kitchen with dining table that seats two and bathroom with shower. The house is a wonderful retreat for one or two guests to relax in beautiful surroundings. The cottage shares land with a renovated tobacco barn we use for weddings and other events and with a log cabin with logs from the 1880s and 1890s (which we also rent). The tiny house itself is charming and newly built, with oak wood floors, pretty woodwork, tile in the bathroom. Red Bird Rentals is a family-owned and operated business. The properties came to us from my parents. My father was known as Red Bird on the CB radio he enjoyed using (my mother's handle was Raw Hide, from an old TV western). They were born and raised in Menifee County, and moved to Ohio to work at Frigidaire after my father got home from World War II. When they retired, they came home and built a house on Myers Fork. They also owned the log cabin on Barker Ridge, and raised gardens (corn, tomatoes, pumpkins, gourds, and strawberries) in what is now its yard. Guest access The tiny house has small porches and expansive fields, a picnic table, a glide seat, an old-fashioned brick fireplace for roasting marshmallows, and a pond if you'd like to fish.
