Beautifully restored 210 year old sandstone farmhouse on over 6 acres of land. The Rose Room has exposed stone walls, hardwood floors, and original milk paint trim. Breakfasts are made from farm raised naturally grown fruits, vegetables, eggs, cheese, and milk. Shared rooms include: living room (TV), dining room, kitchen, and music room (guitars, violin, piano, bass, drums, flutes). Guests may interact with the animals (goats, chickens, cats, and a donkey) provided they are dressed properly! The space When you are here with us, this is your home, too! But please remember this is a farmhouse. Each room has it's own bathroom. But one bathroom is on the 1st floor which is typically assigned to the youngest guests. You may interact with the animals, enjoy a campfire, make music in the music room, or just sit under a tree and ponder! Breath fresh air and see the stars at night! Watch the butterflies, bees and birds! Or enjoy the snow in winter with a cozy wood stove nearby! Guest access Shared spaces in the farm house include the living room with 36 inch TV (Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix, Disney Plus), dining room, kitchen, sun room and music room (piano, 5 guitars, bass, drums, hand held instruments). And of course, there is plenty of space to wander on 6.5 acres of land! There is a parking lot with marked spaces. During your stay We live in the farm house, too! So we are almost always available! To chat, for ideas on what to do, where to go! We will be here for you! Other things to note Guests are welcomed to help around the farm if they wish! Collect eggs, milk a goat, feed the animals, weed the garden, brush the donkey. Depending on the season, we offer classes in pie making, cheese making, and gardening among other things!!!! Just ask us! To participate in farm activities guests must wear long heavy pants (jeans) and close-toed shoes. No shorts or flipflops for farm activities.
