Your entrance is private with keypad lock (no keys to worry about!) allowing flexibility around self check in. Other things to note If you enjoy the water, swimming, fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding are available if you bring your own equipment. There are nature trails to walk and bike ride less than 1 mile away in the 160 acre Makamah Preserve. Crab Meadow golf course is also available within less than 2 miles (you can see Hole 10 from the back window at the flat). The public beach with access at the beginning of the road is quiet and is a beautiful place to relax and swim, for the people that know about it! It is never crowded!
