Sunset Spot is a wooded campsite overlooking a small creek valley. Bring your tents, trailers, or small RVs to this peaceful, secluded getaway. Located 10 minutes from Historic Philipsburg, 20 minutes from Black Moshannon State Park and I-80, and 30 minutes from Penn State University. We are conveniently located as quick, overnight stop or a home-base for exploration of Central Pa. A clean outhouse with paper and hand sanitizer provided. This primitive site has no electricity or water. The space Sit by the fire pit among the pines and enjoy the beautiful view of the sun setting over the next ridge. Listen to frogs chirping in the creek. Guest access Guests have access to a lovely campsite, sunlit outhouse, and quiet backroads. Other things to note Update: Purple Pines will be changing owners.
